BookBub is another website that will keep you updated on free Kindle books that are currently available. Click on any book title, and you'll get a synopsis and photo of the book cover, and usually the date when the book will stop being free. Links to where you can download the book for free are included to make it easy to get your next free eBook. Most of these titles are also available through other sites like Apple, Google, and Kobo, so those links are provided, too.
If you sign up for the daily newsletter, you'll get these links sent directly to you. If your public library has a subscription to OverDrive then you can borrow free Kindle books from your library just like how you'd check out a paper book. Use the Library Search page to find out which libraries near you offer this deal.
You can also borrow books through their mobile app called Libby. If your library doesn't have a subscription to OverDrive, or you're looking for some more free Kindle books, then Book Lending is a similar service where you can borrow and lend books for your Kindle without going through a library. After you register at Book Lending it's free you'll have the ability to borrow books that other individuals are loaning or to loan one of your Kindle books.
You can search through the titles, browse through the list of recently loaned books, and find eBook by genre. Books can only be loaned once, so if you see a title you want, get it before it's gone. The free books here can be borrowed for 14 days and then will be automatically returned to the owner at that time.
At eReaderIQ all the books are updated hourly, meaning you won't have to miss out on any of the limited-time offers. In fact, you can even get notified when new books from Amazon are added. Browsing books is a breeze because you can look through categories and sort the results by newest, rating, and minimum length. You can even set it to show only new books that have been added in the last 24 hours ago.
There are over 60, free Kindle books that you can download at Project Gutenberg. Use the search box to find a specific book, or browse through the detailed categories to find your next great read. You can also view titles by top downloads or recently added.
You can browse the past day's free books as well, but they'll likely no longer be free. A free account can be used to get emails about new books. ManyBooks is another free eBook website that scours the internet to find the greatest and latest in free Kindle books.
Currently, there are over 50, free eBooks here. These books can also be read in your browser. Another way to find free books here is from the genres page or recommended category. Freebooksy is a free eBook blog that lists primarily free Kindle books but also has free Nook books as well, in addition to free eBooks from Kobo, Apple, and Google. There's a new book listed at least once a day, but often times there are many listed in one day, and you can download one or all of them.
Something we like about this site is that the download links aren't to the book files but instead to the store the book is being given away on, such as Amazon for Kindle books, or Google Play or Apple Books. This means you can download it to your device using those apps.
Open Library is a free Kindle book downloading and lending service that has well over 1 million eBook titles available. Library Explorer is a neat way to visualize these books in a virtual library. They seem to specialize in classic literature, but you can also browse recipe books and fantasies, among others genres.
